We have compiled a list of Websites that we have found to be helpful sources of information. When you click on a link, a new window will pop up. The Canada Revenue Agency

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is responsible for the administration of tax laws for the Government of Canada, and for most provinces and territories.

Finance Canada

The Federal Department of Finance is responsible for the development of federal fiscal policy, including laws affecting federal taxes, financial institutions and markets, and federal-provincial transfer payments.

The Bank of Canada

The Bank of Canada site includes a variety of useful features, including information on interest and exchange rates, financial indicators, securities auctions, and more. The convenient “Currency Converter” allows you to determine Canadian dollar equivalents for a broad range of foreign currencies.

Workers Safelty and Insuarance Board

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) promotes workplace health and safety, and provides a workers’ compensation system for the employers and workers of Ontario. There is extensive information on this site about prevention, forms, health issues, return to work programs, and links to other health and safety organizations.

Statistics Canada

Statistics Canada produces statistics that help Canadians better understand their country—its population, resources, economy, society, and culture. In Canada, providing statistics is a federal responsibility; accordingly, Statistics Canada is legislated to serve this function for the whole of Canada and each of the provinces and territories.

Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario

The AGCO regulates the sale, service, and consumption of beverage alcohol, and ensures that casino gaming, charitable gaming, and lotteries are conducted in the public interest and in a manner that is socially and financially responsible.

Ministry of Revenue for Ontario

The Ministry of Revenue administers the province’s major tax statutes, tax credit and benefit programs. The tax revenues collected provide the fiscal foundation upon which many of the province’s programs are based.
